Rash

This illustration accompanied an excerpt from Charles Romalotti’s forthcoming novel, RASH. A bit of challenge this one. How to get across the elements of decadence and the supernatural ingrained into the excerpt? Then I saw it: make a tattoo motif. Both Laura (editor of MORBID OUTLOOK) and Charles liked it very much.
